The East Wake Academy JV Boys Baseball team ended the season with a 1-6 overall record. In their best game, the Eagles won against North Johnston High School with a score of 21-11. “Everyone pretty much got at least one good hit, including me," said junior Daniel Seiler. "I hit a double close to the end of the game ... I am very proud of us for getting this win for the JV team,” he added.

Additionally, Daniel thought the team could improve and "be more aggressive at the ball when coming up to hit.”

“Our defense could be better,' said sophomore Evan Mason. Although others focused on what they could improve, Junior Xadrian Wimbush believes he played better this year than last. “Compared to last season, this time I had more freedom and played more, and had more fun overall,” said Xadrian. The team collectively hopes that improvements will be made next year and that they will have a greater season overall.
